Savannah native J. Cliff McCurry has been appointed to a four-year term as a managing trustee for the University of Georgia Foundation. McCurry’s career in the commercial insurance field spans more than 40 years. He currently serves as the vice-chairman of Seacrest Partners Inc.

IEC Georgia held its Savannah Apprenticeship graduation this past Friday at the Cambria Suites Savannah Airport. Christopher Awesome of ProLectric Contractors received the academic achievement award with an average of 96.25 percent, with the highest average over his four years in the apprenticeship program.
